Water

A common misconception is that hydraulic fracturing will cause damage to our water sources, but in fact, a frac job has never hurt a fresh water source in the state of Texas.  In addition, the average amount of water used on a frac job is about the equivalent of the water used on a golf course for one month.  Today, operators are looking at brackish water sources as an alternative to fresh water sources.
